Celebrate Lā Hoʻihoʻi Ea, Hawaiian Sovereignty Restoration Day! July 31, 1843 is a National Holiday of Ko Hawai'i Pae ʻĀina, the Kingdom of Hawai'i, following British occupation during the Paulet Affair.
