Pīʻāpā Pillow Covers & Throw

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the first printing of the Hawaiian language, we present the Pīʻāpā collection, in partnership with NOHO Home.  The floral motif speaks to the subjects of traditional Hawaiian quilts and is a sophisticated nod to the art of quilting introduced by the missionaries in the 19th century.  A stylized design of the Pīʻāpā can be seen repeated throughout the background.

The iconic white coral and wooden facades of the Mission homes against the blue Hawaiian sky influenced our use of color and design, with soft natural hues drawn from the organic beauty of the islands.
