Tiare Charm

The tiare apetahi (a rare variety of gardenia) grows only on Mt. Temehani on the island of Raiatea, the ancient spiritual center of Polynesia.  Chosen as the symbol for this bicentennial, it reminds us of the spiritual connection between Tahitian missionaries, Sandwich Island missionaries and Hawaiians.
